Two weeks after the controversial statement by BJP MLA Usha Thakur over the ban on Muslims in garba events, the Govt of MP seems with no stand on it. we are at the threshold of the festive season which will mark the beginning of garba events too. After the failure of love-jehal phenomenon in UP by-polls, now the MP govt seems sceptical about the implementation of this circular which was circulated to the event organisers.
in this regard the representative groups of Hindu organisations also met the CM... But the controversy had already done a lot of damage to the ruling
party and thus now the CM seems scared of the results in case it backfires.
